This is an experimental Unicode version of the Qur'an. To view this, your browser must support Unicode.

This should not be considered an authoritative version of the Qur'an. Please note that this version has some known errata. There is also a readme file which explains the source of the material presented here, which was originally formatted using the ISO 8859-6 code page. This was converted to Unicode character entities, using a custom C program written at sacred-texts.com.

This text was not prepared at sacred-texts, and we currently lack the resources to correct errors in it. We will attempt remedy the problems with this text in the future. Until then we recommend the use of the Arabic in embedded GIFs or a printed copy.

In addition, some older browsers have trouble displaying medial and final forms of Unicode Arabic correctly, specifically Internet Explorer 5. Netscape 6 appears to work correctly.
